Happy Thanksgiving! If you and yours are anything like me and mine, you go around the table reciting things that you are thankful for until you can’t think of anything else or give up. Because when you are from a competitive family, everything is a contest.
To help you get into that Thanksgiving spirit, let’s talk about some books that inspire thankfulness.

I am thankful for my husband who, to my knowledge, has never drugged me and tricked me into having sex with Satan so that I give birth to the antichrist. And he would never willingly befriend our neighbors so they’d never be able to convince him to join a cult.

There are many things that are annoying about being an adult. But I am beyond thankful that I am not in middle school or high school anymore. What about you? What are you thankful for in 2024? Or are you just thankful that the year is almost over? Which is totally fair, this year has been a doozy. But let me know books made you instantly thankful for someone or something in your life in the comments! And don’t be afraid to eat your body weight in mashed potatoes because that’s what I’ll be doing.
