Nanny Ogg’s Cookbook

If you have never read the Discworld series, then you may not fully understand the sheer joy that this book brings me. The humor is top tier and never fails to make me laugh. Which was very appreciated after the heavier and more serious recent reads. Not only does this have tons of recipes I can’t wait to try (excluding the arsenic that, of course, should never be added).

It also has the etiquette and lifestyle guidelines of a fun great aunt- old enough to not have a filter and fun enough to make even the most pedestrian of topics hilarious. Have you ever wondered the proper etiquette involved in communications with vampires, witches, and trolls? I know those are circumstances that all of us struggle with daily. This book has you covered.

This was definitely the most fun cookbook I’ve ever read. Now if you’ll excuse me, I need to make Nanny Ogg’s Perfectly Innocent Porridge with Completely Inoffensive Honey Mixture Which Shouldn’t Make Anyone’s Wife Laugh… while giggling. If you need a recipe for this upcoming weekend or etiquette advice for your next soiree, click the link below to check out this book.
