If you go by my reading lists, there are a lot of books that involve um horizontal exercising.
And although when done right this is a great use of time and energy, my favorite way to exercise is much more family-friendly. Disappointing, I know.
I absolutely love doing yoga. It is a whole event. My dog is constantly getting in my face and trying to get me to play with him. All while I am desperately trying not to fall on my face.
Yoga helps both my mind and my body by reducing stress and increasing flexibility. You would be surprised how much sweat your body generates while doing a pose that looks like it should be a piece of cake. Like Warrior 2. Someone tell me why this pose, that is basically standing with your arms out, is so hard. But at the same time, every yoga session you feel your body stretch just a little bit farther, and boy does that feel good
